Ferdinand Feldgen was educated at the Faculty for business management of the Univeristy of Cologne, Germany. He has gained experience in banking and bank training for more than 30 years.

At the beginning of his career in banking he got a practical training in one of the leading commercial banks in Germany and took over responsibility for the training of bank managers as well as training of junior bankers. In 1984 he became a manager in the Academy of the German Savings Banks, the largest banking group in Europe and was engaged in the management of bank training programmes, projects in Human Resource Management and became also an experienced teacher and trainer for bank management and practical bank training in several fields of bank operations.

Since 1992 Ferdinand Feldgen is engaged as a manager of the Sparkassenstiftung für internationale Kooperation (Savings Banks Foundation for international Cooperation) and is now Deputy Managing Director of the Foundation.
He took over a leading role in many international projects and used to work (amongst others) as project director and/or trainer with the following banks and institutions on four continents: World Bank, European Union, German government, GTZ, Russian government, Sberbank, Instituto Bancario Internacional Asociacion Bancaria de Panama, People’s Bank of China and China Banking Regulatory Commission, Bank of China, Erste Group Bank AG, Deutsche Sparkassenakademie.

In 2004 the Academy of the People’s Bank of China (CFTI) appointed Ferdinand Feldgen as Honorary Professor of the Academy.

Tatiana Feldgen graduated in Economic Cybernetics at the Moscow State University for Economics, Statistics and Informatics (past: Moscow State University for Mathematics, Economics and Statistics) in 1984 and promoted with the PhD degree in 1992.

She was Lecturer for Bank business in her Univeristy from 1995 to 2003. From 1996 to 1998 she was the head of the team for the professional training of Russian officers in civil professional topics (eg. Banking and Management).

Since 1997 she lives in Germany and has worked as a trainer in numerous bank management seminars all around the world. She has got experience in training for bank managers of major banks in; Germany, Belgium, Austria, Croatia, Serbia, China, Russia, Belorussia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Vietnam.

In 1992 Lutz Grashof graduated at the Technical University Berlin, Germany, and holds an MBA with a specialisation in Controllin and Cost Accounting. He has a background in commercial banking and more than 16 years of experience in banking, consulting and training.

Between 1996 and 2000 he implemented a project in Namibia as project coordinator on behalf of the Savings Bank Foundation for international cooperation. The project was aiming at institutional and capacity building of a local financial institution. Since 2002 he has been working as short-term expert for a number of consulting firms with a special focus on microfinance and SME finance. He has been delivering SME Finance training courses for trainers (ToT), bank management and loan offiicers in Ghana, Uganda and the Philippines. So far, he has been working in more than 15 countries of Asia, Africa and Europe.
